Plek.je handles the full lifecycle of a Ghost deployment so operators can focus on content rather than infrastructure. This includes provisioning, DNS configuration, SSL, Ghost version updates, storage, and monitoring. Each site is isolated and backed up hourly for 24 hours and daily for 14 days.

A built-in, cookie-free analytics platform is included with every plan. Transactional and newsletter email is handled via Mailgun, and Stripe is available for paid subscriptions and memberships.

All hosted sites run on servers located within the European Union. No customer data is transferred to or processed by infrastructure outside Europe. This makes Plek.je suitable for publishers and businesses subject to GDPR who want to minimise their dependency on US-based cloud providers.

The included analytics platform does not use cookies and does not track individual users across sessions. No third-party analytics scripts are injected into hosted sites.

Plek.je runs Ghost — an open-source publishing platform built for professional content creators. Ghost provides a clean editing interface, built-in SEO, membership and subscription management, and a flexible theming system. Hosted instances are kept up to date with the latest stable Ghost 6 releases.

Plek.je is a solo operation run by Kaperkunde, based in the Netherlands. As a single-operator service, support requests are handled directly by the person responsible for the infrastructure — not a tiered support team. This means faster responses and no hand-offs for technical issues.
